
For those old enough to remember the first apple macintosh (pictured below) which was unveiled in 1984 (OMG!) - you may recall the smiling Mac icon as designed by Susan Kare which appeared on screen as it booted up
(read Mark Penfold's blogpost "Design Icon: The Mac Icons") It is this image that helped inspire my entry for this weeks Illustration Friday topic - Prehistoric.
